Why Did We Make It?

We feel sorry for the mediocre design of Windows apps. For the most part, they are like an uncool kid trying to match the cool kids: mobile applications, Mac OS, and web.

So we’ve saved some pocket money to develop a framework. We picture a better world where:

1. Windows developers create beautiful applications.

2. UI designers create mockups 3x faster.

What’s Done

Right now, it has a number of templates and 200 icons, all open sourced. If you don’t need the mockups, feel free to use the icons separately.

License for the Authoring Tools

If you develop something like:

• A mobile app generator

• Rapid prototyping tool

• Something like PowerPoint, Word

New Team Member

We’ve got a new team member, Uliana. Alexander McQueen model in the past, today she works as a content strategist. If you run a blog, a news website, a collection of freebies, you'd better make friends with her. She will help you with freebies, articles, or just help you carry heavy furniture when moving.

Almost Done: Impresser

We rewrote a piece of software called Prerender and called it Impresser. It allows Googlebot to index our AJAX pages. Compared to Prerender, Impresser works way better for our website of 265k pages:

• Processing of pages gets faster and more reliable

• 20 times less crashes

• Serving content to Google about 30 times faster

• 20 times fewer 5xx errors

• Cyclical renewal of the processed pages

• 10 times more effective compress and minifying of processed pages

Work is in progress, but some components are ready. By the way, we'd appreciate your help with documentation and other components (MongoDB storage, GUI, validators, notifiers, etc).

Almost Done: 1000 Flat Color Icons

Have you downloaded our 300 color icons? We’ve got 1000 already, to be released soon. There’s a catch though: instead of the Good Boy license we're going to use the Proud Dad license.
