Greetings Peter,
Wow, time is flying by. Hopefully, you have completed the basics and are up and running with Zimbra's open source edition. Now it's time to tackle the advanced integration and administration tasks. This is also the last checklist we've created to help you make the most of your Zimbra implementation.
Getting Started Checklist 4: Advanced Integration and Administration
- SSO Integration: Setting up Single Sign-On authentication to the Zimbra Web Client
- Zimlet Integration: Several predefined Zimlets are included with your install. You can create other Zimlets that interact with your company resources or other defined applications through the Zimbra Web Client.
- Backup Process: Backing up the mailbox server on a regular basis can help you quickly restore your email service if there is an unexpected crash.
For network edition users (→ download the free trial), we also offer:
- Role-Based Delegated Administration: For more efficient management of delegated administrators, create administrator groups and add individual administrator accounts to the group. An administrator group allows you to create role-based access control.
- High Availability (HA): Availability of resources in a computer system in the wake of component failures in the system.
- Unified Communications (UC) Integrations: Click-to-call, voicemail, presence and chat.
Thanks again, and have a great day!
The Zimbra Team
